About

My name is Mauricio Maximiliano Guerra Valenzuela, but I chose to be called “Max Guerra” when I started in the world of music.

I was born in Veracruz, Mexico on August 10, 1989, where my love and passion for music was born. When as a child, my mother would put me on a coffee table, with a microphone connected to a record player to pretend that I was singing ballads and giving concerts for her. A game that became my favorite. Today it is still what I enjoy the most, but now I do it on real stages.

I grew up learning all kinds of songs, singing Ballads, Rap, R&B, Rock, Boleros, Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton and others, which greatly influences when I sing and compose songs.

In my hometown I started singing in Rock bands and then became part of versatile groups for social events, I have had the opportunity to participate in musical theater plays with one of the best musical theater companies in the state of Veracruz.

Some time later I began to perform shows as a soloist in the most important nightclubs in the city.

​A couple of years later, I decided to move to Vancouver for a while, where I've been able to continue developing as an artist and connect with the Latin audience, taking part in important projects focused on providing quality music and shows.

In previous years, I've released songs that can be found on all digital platforms like YouTube and Spotify.
